I was just testing out some stuff on my car. I have Nav Pro and Bluetooth but, as far as i can tell, no voice commands at all!! Can this be activated by my dealer, is it just a software tweak or does it require additional hardware????

Trev550i - are ypu certains voice should come with Nav Pro? I have the button on the wheel but i doesnt work and nothing in iDrive for it. Would consider retrofit for ?300 as many people consider it to be very useful.

In the US, it definitely comes with voice control. But in Europe, who knows?

Its a software tweak only - BMW $tealers charge you about ?200 to enable it. You want the extended voice option.

I wouldn't bother with it again I think. Had it done a while back, played with it for a while, but hardly ever use it now. Only when drinking coffee I think, cause I can't fiddle with the idrive knob then.
