+1, I have a 03/2005 (without Nav) and only the basic phone commands work. What am I doing wrong?

Nothing. If you don't have NAV, all you have is the basic phone commands. You must have the phone paired in order for them to work.
That's what I figured. Thanks. |
The voice commands have had quite a lot of updates over the years and now with the CIC even more. So be warned the list shown is quite old.

Jesus.. had no idea there were so many.

I found this updated list that supposedly works with the 2nd generation CIC iDrive (introduced in September 2008).
http://www.e90post.com/forums/attach...9&d=1273896282 The original post is, in fact, for older vehicles. I, myself, have not tried all the commands on these lists. I listed them here so you guys can try it for yourselves. I'm sure some of these will work and others may not. If they don't work, then you would still have lost nothing out of this. The only command that I really use alot is the "dial" command. I say "dial" followed by the persons name in my contact list and it works perfect everytime. |
