Its has been a while since I shopped for a car, a friend of mine is looking to buy a 2008 528i, not from BMW dealer. I was helping him out and for some reason I remember that BMW has a sticker with VIN number on every panel. Couldn't find any on the few that we looked at today - is this still the case? Could somebody confirm that? I just looked on my 645i, and can't find any stickers, and my wife has the 545 @ work so can't look. My M Coupe definitely has the stickers on every panel. Did they abandon this practice?
