I have noticed that my 530i's steering wheel starts vibrating when the vehicle reaches any speed that is over 60 mph. I have tried various roads and anything over that speed results in vibration in the steering wheel.

Any ideas on what might be causing the issue or a possible fix?

I would start with the basics before digging any further. When was the last time you had your wheels balanced? Also, have you recently checked the tire pressure recently?

I had a similar problem just this week and I took my tires to get
balanced, they were of on 3 of the 4 wheels. Problem solved.

After re-balancing the wheels/tires, then perhaps check the bushings.....

If your wheels are perfectly balanced, check your thrust arm and control arm for worn out bushings.

Are they aftermarket wheels or OEM? if there after market make sure if require hub rings which can cause vibrations, i had the same problem with aftermarket if you didnt have hub rings it will vibrate at high speed.

The wheels are AEZ Zeus with hub rings (just bought new rings to exclude this cause). But vibration is still there...

It doesn't smooth out around 80mph? I have slight vibration between 50-65 due to bent rims.
