it is RWD with the sport transmission ( has the sport button under the shift knob) m sport package Lci

 

Understood, unforturtunately I can't help you then as my issue was a front axle. Hope someone else will chime in soon.

Symptoms are same as guibo symptoms. In the beginning very sidle vibration right under the arm rest seems than I reset the transmission ecu and it made it 10X worse immediately. Have not checked the center bearing bushings but vehicle has new symptom , while driving highway speeds even, it will pop out of gear into neutral with a slight grind and must come to a full stop and restart the vehicle to eliminate drive train malfunction limp mode. Only when hit it will do this. First it was while coming to a stop now it’s while driving. Has mechantronica done and tranny services last year. 115k miles 2010 bmw e60i rwd m sport . Any help would be appreciated…
