vibration thru steering wheel

at 85 klm ph I have a slight vibration . I was told my inner tie rod needed doing is this true

If you don't feel the vibration in the break pedal as well...start with tire balance....then an alignment...during the alignment they will be able to look at all components to see if anything is worn.
