Good Morning.

After a long winter in Utah with many potholes, my car was having the common problem of pulling to the right and a small amount of vibration. I took it in to have a wheel balance done and an alignment. According to my service dept my tires were balanced and my alignment was just a "bit" off. Now it pulls even more and it vibrates around 48mph and 60mph.

It has been in twice now to fix the problem but they say everything is fine. I hit several pot holes during the winter so my question now is could I have rim damage or tire damage or something else that I can't think of? They did say my tires looked fine and balanced.

I think the alignment is still off, the balancing should have corrected a slight bent rim or highlighted it to the point of them not being able to fix it......good luck

See if they can do a Hunter Road-Force balancing job. That will pick up possible out-of-round wheels and tires that a regular balancer cannot. Vibration is almost always due to wheels/tires. If that's not the issue, something could be worn or bent in the suspension itself, especially if it's still pulling after being aligned. $0.02

How many miles do you have on the car? It might be a control arm or bushing if you are getting up there in miles.

Hey, I'm in Michigan and have a terrible time with the potholes in the winter. Its bent rims for sure. I had them carefully check my wheels after experiencing the same issues. I'm trying to get the insurance to cover them under "roadbed damage".
