Is the vibration coming from the front or the rear, what's the mileage on the car? The front control arm bushings tend to wear as the car gets higher in mileage.

I was thinkin it was a bushing too, but its an 04 92k on the clock not too sure if it's the front or rear, but just going on the a hunch and saying its coming from the rear b/c its only there when I accelerate

Hmm, hard acceleration, like merging onto a highway? Or normal street acceleration? I might have them check the endlink bushings on the rear sway bar. They can get pretty dry rotted over time, I would think severe winter weather doesn't help

does it feel more like the right side or left side? Sounds more and more like the bushings on the sway bar are done, it's usually what keeps your rear tires planted when accelerating. The right wheel is the main drive wheel so it would make sense that is gets a little more squirrly than the left.

is it possible you have a bent front wheel and the vibration shows up during acceleration when the load transfers to the rear?

My issue with my car is that at low speeds there's a clunk/jerk/stutter from the front end, usually at 35 MPH. And at times, there would be some vibration. So I took my car to a local indy-shop. During the road test and after the inspection, they came to a conclusion the thrust arm bushings were torn.

BTW, I too have a '04 545, Sport Package. About 75k miles.

Hope this helps a bit. Good luck dude.

Chris
