I don't know if I speak for many others but in my opinion, I think an occasional bump in this thread is a good thing. It keeps the memory of our friend alive...
JDN, we miss you buddy.
I unfortunately never met him, I am however truly impressed with the members on this forum keeping his memory alive. e60.net is undoubtedly one of a kind. I am proud to be a member here and I am sure JDN was too.

Not sure if it was a coincidence or not but I find it really cool that this memorial thread was resurrected yesterday, on JDN's birthday!
We miss you Jim!
EDIT: I just now saw the other happy birthday thread so even though it's not a coincidence, it's still great the we haven't forgotten our friend JDN...

Very sad news indeed. It brings it home to you what we all take for granted. The internet and in this case a common bond a car, and if the car was perfect then we may not have a forum. It really has got me thinking, we think nothing of writing this at 1.55am in Scotland and someone could be reading it in Australia at 1.56 pm. The guy or girl could be 20 years old or 80 years old. from many walks of life.
We take too much for granted people.
My thoughts are with JDNs family.
Good Night my friends.
