My Ride: 2005 545i, sport/ premium package, manual transmission, black on black. No add ons yet. Outstanding shape!
Hi Guys,
It seems like this is an excellent forum, just came across it last night. I bought a 2005 545i early last month. It is a fantastic car, everything that I wanted, perfect so far. I keep it garaged just as my weekend drive, honestly I am a little scared something will go wrong and start plowing money in repair costs. But for now enjoying every minute of keeping it spotless...Hopefully will get enough time to be a regular contributor to this forum.
Cheers,
Ramsey

Thanks CWest, looking forward to contribute. BTW, how do I post a pic with my profile. I already uploaded the one profile picture but it doesn't show?

Welcome. Now put some miles on it and enjoy that V-8. I got my '06 2 years ago and was exactly like you, scared if something goes wrong and have to start plowing money in it but once I found out about this forum, I actually gained more confidence doing most of the maintenance and minor repairs on my own. Prop to the members here, very knowledgable when it comes to sharing info and assisting in diagnosing problem.

My Ride: 2006 550i
I traded my '06 525 for am '06 550i, felt comfortable doing it due to all the DIY info in the forums. Almost all maintenance don eby myself, helping save money.

Welcome CWest! Nice Ride!
The more you visit these forums, the more money you'll let fly out of your wallet! Just wait until you start researching stuff like LCI upgrades, etc.... There is a vast, glorious world of mods available for our cars!
I've only owned my 525 for a couple months now and LOVE it!
Good Luck with your new 5!
