No kidding guys, the dealer's work order says " Reprogrammed vehicle with version 19.3"
Is this a mistake or am I the first one to receive this marvel of technology? Actually there is little that I notice that is different from before. Here is a rundown:
I stilll CANNOT dial straight through to Voice Mail without manually entering the password.
In the NAV screen there is now an option screen titled "Input Map". This lets you scroll to anywhere in the country and establish a point of destination.
It does NOT let me enter a destination via voice input as others have suggested.
On the FM radio screen the IS a provision for RDS, ( a box to check) BUT I can't figure out how to check it.
Hope someone can tell me how to do this if it is do-able.
The Lawyer's message did NOT self extinguish after a few minutes as some folks have stated.

I just got mine back yesterday. Repair order indicated reprogrammed with 19.1 although my SA told me the "latest" was 19.2.
Either way, I noticed that the SMG definitely shifts quicker (firmer) in Sport mode. I can't tell about non-sport mode as I never use it.

However, Blutooth is now broken.
I tried to pair again. I get to the screen that says Bluetooth is available but I am not able to "check" the check-box.
They also relaced the door seals and replaced some "Module" related to the active steering which was apparently the cause of my Dynamic Drive failure.
Like most computer issues that I run into at work - it doesn't make much sense and I don't care "why" it happened as long as it is working "now"!

I wouldnt be happy AT ALL with that... I want to get new software if it gives better shift patterns but not at the expense of Bluetooth or other problems... maybe if theres more than one incentive I'll get 19.01+ maybe 20 when theres MP3

Not thrilled, but I've got a good temperment.

The latest version is currently 19.02.03. I hate how sloppy the BMW Centers are getting with the versions.
And yes, the disappearing lawyer screen was apparently a mistake and has been REMOVED from the latest CIP. The version of E60 software contained in 19.02.03 is E060-05-09-535.
