Yeah i ment the thing behind the dash. I dont use the airco anymore because its 4 degrees.

The product i ordered is used to spray in the airintake behind the microfilter what you have to take out. It comes with a hose so u can reach the mildew Place.

The smell is extreme now wen i turn up the heater and the car is at a stop. Hope i receive the package monday

Thanks for the replys!

So cleaned the aircondition twice now. smells ok now.
But the smell still is there... it comes from under the hood. if u standing in front of the car the right side, somewhere down or at the back of the engine.

Since the gear oil has been flushed and the oilpan gasket has been changed the smell is there so i think it has something to do with one of those things.

Could it be transmission fluid that leaks? but that would smell different wouldt it?
It also shifts smooth and car drive perfectly.

monday i will demount the plates under the vehicle en try to smell the part where it will come from. grrrrr

Hello RFAC, If you are getting the smell from air conditioner means that your air conditioner needs maintenance. We can do some basic maintenance by yourself, but the professionals like smart thermostat installation new jersey can do the technical maintenance so better call a technician and get maintained your air conditioner.

I am having this same issue. Only when idling does it smell weird, almost like an exhaust/chemical smell. The smell is strongest with the A/C off and just the vents on.
