I was told by my dealer when I ordered my 2005 545 that vented seats was NOT available.

Maybe they just sell it in Europe?? I'll bet all those guys who bought their E60's over there will need the vented seats to cool off the burning sensation in their asses from the rapings they got when buying them....? ? heh.?? ?

You learn to drive perched on the steering wheel and holding your ass off the seat.
Maybe they should offer the drivers seat as a delete option over here in (certain parts of) Y'urp.

BTW, whats a priority one option ?

I already have my car.

A little late to change options now....

I will just have to suffer the occassional sweaty ass, and be sure to carry extra shorts....

Some nice sheep skin seat covers take care of everything (ho or cold). Much cheaper than ventilated seats. One less thing to worry about after the warranty runs out.

I looked at seat covers in the BMW accessory catalog.

They have nothing that will fit comfort seats.

I agree - you should be able to find some high-quality aftermarket covers that fit the E60. I had sheepsking in my Audi when in FL and they were fantastic in the heat. Much better than even ventilated I'm sure.

Remember, you're still gonna stick to those seats when you first get into your 150 degree car that's been sitting in the sun for 8 hours. Ventilation won't help that.

Subterfuse Can you change your order? Mine is a 2005 delivered last month. CRRobert also has vent seats. I like the Nasca? - it's on all the seating surfaces, front and back seats, as well as the doors. Used them a few times and they work great. It's in the 50's tonight so I may use the seat heaters in the morning - that's damn cold for us Florida folks .

Could you post the pictures of the ventilated seats and color. I believe it's available in dark beige. Will that change the color of intereior?
Will it be similar to auburn leather when all the surfaces are blck and only seats are beige or is it like beige interior - all beige?

How much was the option? $2600? did you have to order comfort seats to get it?

You say beige and black, but the photos look like beige and grey. Which is it? Does anyone know if they can be retrofitted on a 2004 545?

Wow. Pretty nice. Is Nasca leather more durable/comfortable/better than Dakota leather? It looks like it would be a little more 'grippy' with the ventilated seats (becuase of all the holes).
