I have ventilated seats with black Nasca leather..
Today I had two occasions in which driver's seat and left rear seat were exposed to water;
One was by a wet towel (which was left 5 minutes on the seat after I've swapped the washed car with it),
and the other one was by drippings of Meguiar's Quick Detailer from the bottle left upside down.
The result was immediately visible wrinkling of the parts exposed to water.
It lost its tension, and won't come back to the way it was.
I have never had this kind of problem with other kinds of leather.
Is Nasca leather more susceptible to damage by water? Has anyone else have same problem?
Or will it find its way back to way it was.. maybe after few days for it to FULLY dry up and recover?

I think that any leather will absorb water no matter how nice it is.

I've never gotten mine wet but it's pretty clear that leather is porous and will absorb liquids when exposed to them. The perforations in the Nasca leather probably make the leather more absorbent since the holes expose more of the "suede" part which isn't as sealed as the top side.
Hopefully after the leather has had ample time to dry, things may look better but I can't say if they'll ever be back to normal...

Just curious - have you ever applied any leather treatment to the seats?

however I have never applied them to my previous cars either; I think they just make the leather too shiny..
and even without any care to the leather, they seem to be just fine even after 5 or more years ^^
