When the vent fan comes on automatically, does it run in AC mode? The vehicle has has sensors to detect conditions that may fog up the windshield.

yes mine did. It came on like normal. It was weird the first couple of times it happened.

I tried this today in 81° weather. Seemed to work, not that you should have to this...of course.
