v12.2 software slows acceleration in 545?

I got the new software last week. I believe it is version 12.2. My car is a steptronic 545, October delivery. After driving the car for a week, I could swear it is slower, particularly from a stop in 2nd gear. I used to be able to punch it from a standstill in 2nd and it would take off reasonably fast. Now it feels like a real dog, forcing a 1st gear start to get that same agility.
Is it me, or do other 545s out there feel a tad sluggish after the new software "upgrade"?

new_e60, I feel the same way after software upgraded too. The steptronic changes gears is more smoth now but I feel the car is kind of slower for some reasons.
Rudy, you have SMG tran, so I guess it doesn't effect you.

Just wait for Dinan to come out with their steptronic tuning software. That'll probably be a real kick in the pants.

My Ride: 2008 535i: June 6th start build, complete June 17th, at NY Port July 5th, at dealer July 10th, took delivery Friday July 13- Plantimum Bronze/Natural Brown Leather/Light Poplar, Sport Package, Sport Auto, Active Steering, Premium Package, CWP & PDC. Dinan Performance Software 384hp & 421 ft/lbs.
My dealer said that by years end Dinan should have a SMG software upgrade as well. Current sport setting would become the new non-sport, and new sport setting will be faster still! Chirp....Chirp...Chirp
