does anyone know if this can be retro fit?

my local parts dept say it that the USB interface available as factory option on LCI is not appearing as a "retrofit" kit yet BUT they do seem to be able to order the parts that would make up a kit i.e the aux input unit with USB slot above it.

has anyone managed to get this installed and working?

dealer is sitting on the fence on this one. they agree the part seems to be available and also agree that as the old aux kit "works" then replacing it with the new part which inc the usb port should also "work" but they cannot say if it needs anything else.
