well dealer fixed one but i dont like at all.....
for front its 245 / 35 /19
rear 275 / 30 /19

Stick with those if you want to be within BMW recommended specs for the speedo.
DO NOT go with 255/40/19 in front. You will rub. I've done enough research to confidently say this. I almost bought a set myself.
285/35/19 rear is ok. but they are 1.3" larger in diameter than OEM, affecting the speedo about 3mph at 65mph.
BUT if you use 285/35/19 rear and 245/35/19 front then you will run into the problem with the fronts traveling at 65mph and the rear traveling at 68mph.

Don't be rediculous!
Of course it will not stretch...
it will obviously get shorter

So bung on different diameter wheels and you get a 3-series?

36117834625 (Front, $550 for 2)
36117834626 (Rear, $560 for 2)
Standard tyres are 255/40/19 and 285/35/19 (Continental's) - See below. Or you source non-OEM wheels of debatable quality...

I note the M5 wheels have a slightly smaller offset (than stock 19" 172's) so they 'stick out' a bit more. (Front ET12 vs ET18, Rear ET28 vs ET32) - I believe it's probably enough to avoid rubbing...

So you're planning on going with 285/35/19 rear and 245/35/19 front?

All that said, yes, other sizes may fit, but why use a 285 on the rear when it was designed for the diameter and fit of a 275/30-19 (when used on a 19" wheel)?

245/35-19 and 275/30-19 is the proper tire size for a 19" wheel on all non-M E60 models. It maintains very close to the same overall diameter as stock wheels and tires, and is also the only tire size officially recommended and supported by BMW on 8.5 x 19 front and 9.5 x 19 rear on non-M E60 models. It is also the largest size officially supported by BMW.
