My Ride: 2007 530i. Purchased 6/28/07. Titanium Silver Metallic, Black Dakota Leather, Dark Poplar Trim, Steptronic, Premium Package, Cold Weather Package, Bluetooth, Adaptive Control Xenons. 10/30/07 Added OEM 124s with 245/40/18 & 275/35/18 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires. Sorry guys my bad, yes how did you know ?
I've replace all my wheels now but the problem remains.
I've changed from 17"s to 18"s . When i was half finished I've noticed that one of the tyres had a nail in it. Now, i'm (was) in between on changing all wheels and driving to the garage (which is 30miles away) or swapping back the 17"s.
How dangerous it is to run the car with the nail in the tyre and what's the max speed you reckon i can go ?
Btw, don't get how 18"s give less feedback from the 17"s i've had..

Why not just roll on three 18s and put the damaged one in the trunk? It's no different than driving on a smaller spare.

Yeah, that's not bad idea at all. They only have 4mm difference in diameter. It is the rear though. Do you reckon it'll overwork the diff?
