I also bought the extended warranty. I had the same pulsating feeling when I stepped on the breaks on week after I bought the car. BMW replaced by warp front rotors under the extended plan at no charge.

Not sure what is going on with the dealership but I'd be super pissed if i was asked to cover the brakes even though its covered under the maintenance plan. I'd talk to managers or even BMWNA. I've always had great experiences at the dealers i've been to and explaining/verifying before hand what is covered has helped.
Warped rotors should OFCOURSE be covered. I have not heard of a Control Arm causing the rotor to warp.
