Has anyone ever added RTTI to their E60 that didn't come with it? Just curious if I should explore this option rather then just dropping down 3k and doing the CCC retrofit. Any info would be appreciated. Thank You!

Doing CCC? You mean CIC?

If you currently have CCC, I can enable RTTI for you.

RTTI is a function of NAV - there is no specific connection between CCC or CIC systems, it comes on both.

So I just did a quick look up and it looks like I have a CCC unit on my car. Knowing this now is this something that can be programmed with my current idrive or would it be easier just to upgrade to the new idrive system? Thank You

It would only take coding to activate traffic info. No need to upgrade to CIC, unless you are looking for CIC specific features.

Nothing else just the traffic RTTI option though I wouldn't mind having the other options available too
