It can be done but it shouldn't be done. You will need some new trims to go around the radio and a new AC plastic cover. Not sure if its worth the price.

Thanks Sahiljain22. I wanted to install a Dension GW51MO2, but I'm not sure if it will work in my car (04 BMW 530i) do you have any ideas ?

Anything is possible, but if you're referring to putting a Logic 7 system in a non-logic car, don't waste your money- You'll need a new dash for the center speaker, all new speakers that can handle the L7 amps output, a new amp, new underseat sub mounts, complete car recode and a bunch of other PITA stuff.

Well, cut away, but keep in mind you still need all subwoofers, mounts, speakers, the amp, coding and small parts as well.

Hey Guys.... I saw a video on youtube, that showed a guy playing his ipod/iphone and controlled it from the idrive of steering wheel, he also had back up camera, bluetooth and sat nav on there so I was trying to get some info on doing that with my car, thinking it was the "radio that needed upgrading" but now I'm finding out about pre LCI, LCI, CCC and CIC, all foreign to me, but for the most parts all I want to do is control the ipad/iphone or whatever audio/video device, get navigation and bluetooth. So my apologies on the title "Upgrading Radio" If anyone have ideas on what I need and not too expensive please feel free to help. I'm new to this forum, but it has been helpful in giving ideas on modification to that car. Thanks for your help.
