What version are you on now? If you are on 13x or less, than the upgrade to 16.2 has numerous improvements in engine management, to NAV and also to Bluetooth. Go for it.

My Ride: 2007 Titanium Gray 550i, with sport, nav, HUD, Logic7, sat radio, cold weather, rear side airbags, rear seat heaters, and it goes like a bat outta hell!

There is always going to be another, newer version on the horizon, so if you keep waiting, you will never upgrade. If you can do without the car for a day or two, I say upgrade....especially if you have nav, as it seems that most of the benefits of 16.2 relate to the nav system. I had 16.2 installed last week, and for me the most noticeable change is that the acceleration lag is not quite as bad....the car seems to accelerate much better, without the hesitation that was there before. I still want to see how it is after the car has "re-learned" my driving habits, but since my car was in the shop for other warranty items, and the upgrade didn't cost me anything, and because I was only without my car for about a day and a half.....I'm happy I upgraded. Now, I'll be interested to see the posts about 17.0 after it gets installed, and tested....and if the results are good......well, I'll have that installed too!!
