I did search, there were 3 pages of results but nothing pertained to what I am looking for. What does the Update Services item in the I drive do? There is also no mention of this in the FM.

That is for BMW Assist and BMW telematic services. When there is a problem with one (or more) service(s) you can update the services and they might be re-initialized. If not you have to cancel all services first and then do the update, and the services will be re-initialized...

I like the software level of my idrve. It can finally remembers the last track i was playing on the cd without always going back to track #1.

Talking about software, when I start my engine I see a new yellow light. It is RTC. What is RTC?
