I saw this vehicle today on my way to work, and thought that the color was great, but a little unusual. It looked great on a 325i, but not sure that it would look good on an E60.

Check it out, picture quality is not the greatest.

It's - Barrique Red. Now it's a little darker and is - Barbera Red!

+1 for Barbera Red, and there are some e60's floating around in this color. I personally like this color on 3 series coupes..

Left side (everyone remember what thread this pic came from )

you can configure a barbera red e60 on the bmwusa website....

haha I guess I am color-blind. You're right the picture I snapped is more red.

Nice looking car.

As theXman said, this is the Amethyst gray.

I don't have the body kit or the slick splitter though, but little easier to see the color. The barbera red is an interesting color though.

All I've done so far is shadowline, wheels and lighting (fogs and AE's) as for the exterior. I've done a bit more interior. More wood, changing out some parts, nav retrofit etc.. I'm done for now, in all likelihood I'll be selling the car in a few months to pick up a newer 550 (addicted to the V8). One sad bit is that I won't have this color again. I am absolutely in love with it. I may just custom paint my new one .

I'm salivating over the m-tech front and splitter though, what a hot look with this color. Must.resist!
