Thank you for the link, I have it printed out now.

I have another question: If I unlock these menus, can I somehow reset/damage the settings by pressing something I'm not suppossed to? Or I cannot change the setting through the "unlocked menu"
Thanks for the replies

You can affect on some things through the unlocked hidden menu, but the menu is quite simple to use so there's not a real risk you would mess anything up very easily. I am not very familiar about the things you can affect, but for example you can calibrate the consumption readings (mpg)through the hidden menu.

Every time you shut the car off, the menu will be locked again, so it won't be open when you start the car again.

Cool, thanks for the reply. I was more concerned with screwing up "engine management" or some other vital functions. If I change the "mpg" setting for example, after the car is turned off, does it return back to its original settings or will the MPG still be in the units that it was changed to?

You can change the units (km/miles, gallons/litres) in idrive.

I have never calibrated my mpg readings in a hidden menu, but I'm sure they will stay in car's memory until you change them again. I guess that's the whole point of that function. If you notice that mpg readings in idrive don't match the real consumption, then there's a reason to calibrate it.
