I have the universal remote on my 5. I have just had a Hormann operator put on my garage doors. I am having major issues trying to get the remote programmed to open the door, it just doesnt seem to want to learn from the remote supplied with the doors, despite both items being Homelink compliant. Has anyone here managed to get this done ?

If you have the rolling code garage opener then you also need to push the learn code button on the garage opener to program your homelink. It is in the manual step by step.

I followed the instructions, but the UR just won't take any notice of the remote supplied with the operator. It doesnt even give any feedback to say its a rolling code, but carried out that style as well. Any ideas ?

I don't know if it will help but I had to change the position of my remote several times until it apparently hit in the right location. Just doing what the manual said was not enough. It seems the receiver in Homelink is very particular in my car. Sorry I don't have any more than this. Good luck!
