Forget it and do alignment in normal service shop. 15 months is a long period, so anyway i do new alignment every year. Tires seems ok still.

Didn't want to risk driving around with those tyres so they were replaced on Saturday. I didn't keep them, they stayed at the tyre place.
The local Dealer, I think one of the biggest in the midlands, is insistant that the alignment was perfect when it left them, however they have only just told me that only the front two wheels were aligned under BMW warranty as thats all they would pay for!

I don't believe tyres should wear so badly, all the cars I've owned have always worn evenly. I'm a very careful driver, avoid pot holes, and reduce speeds at sleeping policemen always. My previous car, the ten years I owned in only had wheel alignment twice, never a problem with uneven tyre wear.
