I was at the dealer today. My mums 318 that is only 2 years old is having some problems so I had to wait for 30 minutes. I talked with my salesrep and e-mailed him the German sheet for the 2005 model (he only had the dutch one that stated 3 changes ).

But anyway. I checked out the new E61.. Yummie Dennis likes! While fiddling around I also looked at three E60's and noticed that we don't have the wood in the back under the rear arvent controls.. Is this because all these cars didn't have rearseat heating and cigarette lighters??? Is there for this storageplace also a woodsurrounding.. I think it would look awesome..

Can other owners without these options tell me if they have the storage in the back under the arvent controls????

TIA!!!!

So far I haven't seen an e60/e61 with the storage and wood surrounding. But I have seen a wood insert, without any storage, cigarette lighter, seat heater buttons and power outlets.

I've seen those too. I like the wood a lot but I think it isn't there.. Should have taken the rear seat heaters like I debated on.. Ah well, I won't sit much in the back.

Well, you don't sit much in the back, but you know the wood isn't there and it looks cheap behind you... THAT will bother you...

Check it out. You need rearseat heating on order to get the wood. This car only has cigarette lighters and he also has the storage space and no wood!

I have no lighters or heated rear seat buttons, but it did come with the plastic we like to refer to as wood.

I have the storage area in mine. What about those of us with the Titanium finish? We want more silver bits!
