My e60 seems to be suffering from uneven tyre wear on the front. Both front wheels are wearing quite badly on the outside edge of the tread. The centre and inside of the tread are measuring at around 5 to 6mm, while the outsides are between 2 to 3mm.
Any advice on what I should do? Its gotta be the tracking, but will this have to be done by the dealer or can an independant tyre centre do it?
Cheers

When they fix it, make sure it doesnt look like this.
Normally, mine get worn on the inside because of the camber.
Good luck brother.

Check out this site mate:

Sounds like you need to get a 4 Wheel Alignment. My fronts were the same, but the outside shoulder on driver's side and inside shoulder on passenger side were wearing super quick. Since the alignment, it's been fine.

you need an alignment. BMW's normally wear faster on the inside edges due to the factory camber.
