i heard through the grapevine that the e60 top speed is limited at a buck thirty-two. i remember on my 325i, i took it up to a buck thirty-two, and sure enough it limited. so today i decided to try it out (for chits and giggles) on my e60. i quickly got to the buck thirty-two and it kept going. i got up to a buck forty plus and it still kept accelerating. i then had to back it down because the road was getting precarious. so what is the e60 top speed limit?

Mines 155mph, is it correct that the US e60 could have it`s top speed increased? as a special order option.

i highly doubt it. but there are plenty of ways to remove the top speed governor

i was more so paying attention to the road at the moment. if i had to guess, it seemed around 25 seconds as you stated. i wasn't at a dead stop when i decided to try it. next time i will roughly gauge it.
