yep, it's open all the way through wrightwood. the only part that is closed (as far as i know) is from mt. wilson down to La Canada.
There were a few HUGE rocks on the road: a couple were size of mellons, but the road is relatively clean and nicely repaved.
definitely a great place to test your suspension and have a little fun without having to go crazy fast.

Yeah you So Cal folks should organize a twisties driving meet. Between Angeles Crest, the Glendora highway, Decker Canyon Road, Latigo Canyon Road and so many others, you are blessed with so many serious twisties.
