How's the bumper for getting off. any hidden bolt, do you have to remove the little vents that open & close in front of the rad or does it all fit backin and look standard.

Bumper comes off easy enough. Some small bolts in the inner wings, pretty easy. No flaps on a Sport. If you have an SE you would have to remove them to get the best from the mod.

it has a few stealer add ons but im looking to take it on..
so i was wandering if u guys could give me some tips. photos. links. info. ect
was looking at changing the lights, wheels, dash(trim), engine(want a deeper sound)
that sort of thing..
have got some pics for u to look at..

Nice car. Looks like you have standard halogen lights. Depends if you want to go down the aftermarket HID kit route or have OEM xenon retrofit. OEM is not cheap. Some have gone with Xenon look bulbs only which are not bright like HID. Thinking of the angel eyes you could make them whiter like I did...got the bulbs from a member here. See the thread with the angel eye upgrade for halogen headlights.

With the wheels, you could go for 18" or 19" rims. I have style 124 with dunlop run flat tyres. I'll be changing to non run flat tyres when I change them. Might consider the 19" wheel upgrade to style 166 or 167 but for now I like the 124s. Just don't like the ride of run flats ! By the way, are your windows tinted ? Thinking about this mod too along with window dechrome. I have a black car so chrome around the windows stands out way too much. Want to get a not too dark window tint with dechrome.

Buying my E60 sport this Friday 
It is a 2005 530D M SPort in carbon black, with black dakota heated electric seats, xenon headlights, and pro sat nav and the best bit is, it has only covered 48K with comprehensive BMWSH.

Hi there, i know this is a little later, but i wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
I bought one from Ebay too but for a 530 218bhp. i don't want to start an argument here, it may be that i ended up with a lemon, but it didn't work on my car.
here are my dyno runs,
Standard 215.2BHP
Abrieb box 214.9BHP it smoothed the power out and made it feel quicker, yes a few pounds more torque too.
Remap 271.1Bhp.
For anyone wanting to know, been remapped for 10 month and not a problem with the remap. Been in to stealer for service and a computer fault with the map and no problem from them. MPGwise I don't really do much motorway and only get around 28mpg town. (auto and a very heavy right foot)
Remapping Recommended +1
Paulmc, I notice on another thread that you fitted an intercooler to your 535. what sort of difference did you get turbo lag etc... I'm always on the look out for more power. thanks Lewis

The remap figures from turbo_lew look good. I want remap for my 530d too. I was thinking about the same in terms of how does the car feel after the remap....is it worth it ? I heard lots of people have had their 535d remapped but not found many 530d remapped owners. Any opinions on 530d remap would be helpful. Thanks.
