I will have a think about that trip to the Nordschlieffe Mark. Could be a good grin! Good time of year to go too. Could tie in with Le Mans nicely too!

This is the full plan up till now........
Thursday 23rd July (early) - Leave for ring and stay overnight
Friday 24th (afternoon) - make way to German Racewars
Saturday 25th - All day at Racewars
Sunday 26th - Leave Racewars as and when.
Monday 27th - Those who want to carry on down to Switzerland and those that don't drive back to the ferry.
Tuesday 28th - Mountain Fun
Wednesday 29th - Back up through France to the Ferry
A = Calais
B = Nurburgring
C = German Race Wars
D = Davos (Stelvio Pass) ( Take some more spare boxorz for the ride )
E = Mont Blanc Tunnel ( can you imagine this in your M5 - damn new boxorz alert )
F = Calais
1,684 miles
---------------------
Will be epic fun, specially with the E60's on the Schleife

Sounds like the Singen AutoSalon would be on your route down to Switzerland. I think it's the car dealer with the biggest collection of prestige cars in the world. You can go there at any time of the year and you'll find in stock things like Porsche 959s, Ferrari F40s, F50s, Enzos, McLaren F1s, Bugatti Veyrons and just about any exotic car you can think of.

They currently have 6 Veyrons for sale. Is there anywhere in the world (apart from the factory) that has 6 veyrons parked next to each other ? Doubtful. They also have 200 Porsches, over 100 Ferraris and countless Maseratis, Astons, Bentleys etc. It's just unbe-f***ing-lievable.
I still can't believe I've never been there, it's only 2-3 hours away from me.

Guys, i've been through the Mont Blanc tunnel a few times - it's not all that good to be honest if you are going purely for a tunnel run. There's a minimum speed limit of 50kph and a maximum of 70kph, and you have to maintain a good distance from the vehicle in front at all times.
The tunnels elsewhere around the alps however...
There's plenty of them, a lot are a couple of km's or more too
