Hi mate, were you at the BMW festival in gaydon this year? Pretty sure I saw your car there
Yes mate i was at Gaydon, on the Evotechnik stand, although the car had the plate on, it was completley standard.
Once again thanks for the comments, much appreciated

Do you get much grief from the police with those plates, or do you just use them as showplates?

P.S. Great car
For some reason i never get any greif from the blues in blue, not sure why not but its all good

That's VERY lucky.
I think you have you have balls of steel to have those plates so goon on ya.
I've always wanted these plates but havent plucked the courage ... yet !

I had them on my old car and got stopped 3 times in one night!
They didn't stay on for very long

PS - Thanks to all those who commented on Sytner Leicester, they have got a bad rep around this way and it's quiet easy to see why.

good luck with purchase.
where abouts in Essex are you from? (don't have to answer that if you're not comfortable)
Had it delivered yesterday. Silver 535d with a few extras.

Living in Braintree but originally from Chelmsford.

Cheers

So.....all the UK crew!

Hopefully when the weather picks up in March/April and we dont spend 15 minutes every morning scraping the ice off the windscreen....how about getting together for a UK meet?
It would probably be best somewhere Central so everyone has a reasonable travel time.

Any ideas on when, where & what?
Best to take into mind people who might be travelling a few miles, parking, cost, any weather permitting activities & so on & so forth.
I would suggest Leicester as a location as it smack bang middle of the M1....but to be fair theres not much to do round here!

Look forward to seeing some interest and ideas!

Some good curry houses in Leicester tho

Im up for it

--------------------------------

I aim one day for my car to look like this Hamann machine....

I want some wheels which look like the Hamann 20inch jobbies, they cost like ?6700 GBP, stupid money, so until I find some wheels which are a reasonable replica im looking at various other wheels, just cant settle on a set atm.........

Short list atm is......as a placeholder at least are

19inch M6 Style Rims
19inch M-Sport Spyder type 172's
20inch Exe Penta's

They must sit with my other planned mods however...........Probably the H+R Race springs kit, Carbon Vented Bonnet ( maybe or maybe not painted ) , Carbon Hamann Splitter, Carbon Diffuser , Hamann Side Skirts............

It will basicaly look like this but without the Hamann wheels, but additionaly the carbon bonnet........., in the long run I want to find some decent Hamann Reps to finish the look, its the short term im looking at here as the 18's fitted atm look tiny on this car IMHO.
