'07 MY US models did not have the TT engine in the LCI '08. What is the problem with those, dare I ask?

sorry to hear about your troubles with your n54 E60. Fortunately you were able to have BMW NA buy back your vehicle.
I too recently qualified for the lemon law and BMW NA settled with my attorney. It's too bad we had to spend 60K+ only have the vehicle at the dealership for months. I definitely feel your pain.

Wow. thanks for your input! I was considering a 535i, I just love the torque it puts out. Makes me wonder how the v8 TT is going to hold up in the future..
