tomorrow and my new car is arriving tomorrow evening. I get to pick it up on Friday Evening

The one Destroyed

2004 525i, Premium, 16's, ski package...Black/Black

The new one

2004 530i, Premium, Xenon, Navigation, Auto Rear Sun Shades, Silver Grey/Black

Will Post Pictures when I pick it up.

Thought about waiting for the 05 in six weeks but that meant renting a car for 6 more weeks and BMW wa offering great finance rates to move the 04' out plus paid 1000 over invoice.....

On the European Delivery - we already have our winter vacations planned. I will be changing my Boxster to the M3 or 330 with performance package and will plan for european delivery for the summer

Thanks for all the help, ideas, comments and concern about my wife. This is a great board................

Also for those in the US...I have been with State Farm for 15 years and at times when you need a good insurance company..they always come through. They gave me back the full price that I had paid......for those of you in socal....state farm agent Chris Ferraro in South OC/ California is just awesome.....

Congrats on the new car, I'm glad everything is working out for you.

About the boxster, I'd trade it in for the M3, but not sure if I'd do the same for a 330.

Wonderful news.
This about the best outcome from such a tragedy I have heard about involving a car.
Thank you for sharing your story.

good to hear everything worked out great . it's wonderful that state farm gave you what you paid for and that means you didn't lose any money on the depreciation ! i'm sure you'll enjoy your new ride better, especially w/the xenon, nav, and 17" rims .
as for the boxster, of course the m3 is a better car but i think 330 w/performance package is not bad at all . it's performance is very close to a m3 . i wouldn't take a 330 w/o performance pkg but with it, a completely diff story .

Thumbs up

Hey Bimmeroc,

If you have nothing better to do on the weekend of October 16 or 17 you could come up to Malibu for the E60 Meet 'N' Greet?! Would love to see the new car!
