Hi Guys,
I am going to be getting my 166's in a couple of weeks and I have to order my tyres soon to make sure they get here in time (I live in India and no local tyre dealer seems to have 19" tyres in stock so I have to order the tyres all the way from the UK  ). Once I order my tryes there is no-way I can change them so I wanted to make sure I get it right. Please let me know if I have made the right choice by ordering the following tryes:- 245/35 ZR 19 93Y MICHELIN PILOT SPORT PS2 XL 285/30ZR19 (98Y) MICHELIN PILOT SPORT PS2 XL Thanks PS: I am going for M5 Kit with the M5 fenders... just in case it makes a difference in tyre selection. |

Well I know your front specs are fine, i suggest you go with 275/30/19 config in the rear, most stock no M5 e60's run this config. You should get the tires from Japan, have one for those grey market Japanese car importers bring them a set for you behind an inventory car. it will be a lot lot cheaper. thats how I got mine :D .. I am probably the only one here who got the tires before the wheels lol..... |

well your car dealers who sell those japanese cars will know where to get them.

Since you will be getting M5 front fenders, I would suggest 255/35/19 tyres for the front. The rear 285/30/19 is fine.

These would be General Exclaim UHP; 245/35/19 and 275/30/19. 12mm IchibaUSA spacers in the rear on OEM 166 19x9.5 ET:28mm.

Suchet - Did u check with Saifee? I am sure he would be able to get hold of 19 inch tyres for you.
