Hah! 19" wheels ordered at last ! Nothing fancy though...

Time for tyre order then. It will be a non-staggered setup with 245/35 R19.
I have some choices here. I hope you could tell me your opinions/experiences.
And sure recommend something else too if you wish!

1) Nokian Z
+ I have had very good experiences on Nokian summer tyres before. I've had 2 sets of NRVi's (In a Toyota).
+ I'm running Hakkapeliitta 5's at winter time and they're superb too!
- These Z's are made in Japan not in Finland

2) Falken FK452
+ lots of happy users here (?)

3) HANKOOK Ventus V12 Evo K110
+/- ???

my 2 cents - dont get the falkens. They are extremely slim tires - getting a set of 245s look like 235s on the 8,5" wheels, and teh 275s on the 9,5 will looklike if you have 265s on them..

What about the General Exclaim UHPs? Do they also look gimptastic?

P.S. What the hell is a "tyre"? lol.

I can't tell you much about the generals since we dont have them in europe. If your budget permits, you may consider vredstein ultrac sessanta - good performance, sexy looks and wider than other tires...

I also have had good experience with Nokian, but today I drive Falken 452's - In my opinion these are better than Nokian, especially on wet conditions.

Former used Michelin Pilot Sport 2 - Poooor
Also no good grip on the Hankook Ventus and the Nangkang tires

None of the ones you have choosen are of real quality. Buy a Michelin or at least a Goodyear product. Tires are so important and can make or break a driving experience (IMHO). Pay a few extra bucks and buy right!

Actually I've considered the Nokian tyres as a high quality brand. Here in Finland they usually are on top in different tests.
Those NRVi's that I had, were very quiet and had a good tread wear. I know that Nokian is a quite small manufacturer though.

If you're buying any sort of larger or low profile tire you can't go Goodyear because they just don't make em in that size. Michelin is good, but why the hell pay literally 2.5X the price of a General tire for the same average treadwear ~30,000 miles? Its a huge money waste especially if you want to drive aggressively.

If I wanted to burnout and do some serious driving with my car I would cringe every time if I had $365 (per tire) Michelin Pilot Sports on my car vs my dirt cheap Generals.

i would say Conti,s but out of the choice you should go with falkens, i had them on my X5 And 730d before, and was quite pleased.
