Hi Guys

Ater upgrading to 20" wheels , what pressures should be in the tyres ?

255 / 30 / 20 front

285 / 25 / 20 rear

The main reason for asking is that i am attending a "VMAX" track day at Bruntingthorpe Proving Grounds

at the weekend, and the guys who regularly attend estimate top speed runs of approaching 170 mph

for the DMS 535d. I will also get chance to do some rolling comparisons with e46 M3's, TVr's, VW Golf R32, NSX's

as well as being killed by a kleeman sl600, slk55 amg,and a few RUF 911's.

I enquired for calculated tyre pressures to Continental in Hannover for my 535d and below is the reply

vielen Dank f?r Ihre Anfrage. Als Reifenf?lldr?ck empfehlen wir;

Teillast: vorn 2,7 bar, hinten 2,9 bar
Volllast: Vorn 3,1 bar, hinten 3,5 bar

Mit freundlichen Gr??en

In psi terms this means

Partial load: front 39 rear 42
Full load : front 45 rear 50.5

Full load usually means 4 adults plus luggage, so you probably rarely use it, but it is also recommend to raise standard tyre pressures for high speed driving.

You could contact them yourself for a recommendation. I am sure they will speak english, too.
