Hi Guys,

Yesterday, I had my 2 dunlop runflats at the front changed to standard dunlop tyres. The ride is far far better and quieter now !!

Anyway, the liught in the dash is coming on still - saying I have a puncture. How can i de-activate it without going to BMW (no time to go!!). I already tried the 10sec press on the dial.

Also, is there anyway to check if the tyre service guys didnt steal my sensors?

Ronald

If everything has been moved over, your tyre diameters will have changed as you have new tyres, so it will complain until you reset the TPM.

With the engine running, but the car at a standstill, from iDrive menu choose vehicle settings/TPM then click on status; this should bring up a "reset?" window (sorry - I'm quoting from memory; the car is at home).

No trouble. Also - remember that status will say "initialising" for about 15-20km of continuous driving from the resetting moment.

If you car is 2004 like my they will have a hard time stealing the sensors because they are on the car not tyres
