Hi,

I've got a 04 530Diesel Auto E60 with non standard wheels.

My tyres sizes are 245/40/18 front and 275/35/18 rear...How do i know what pressure to have as the manual doesn't have these sizes.

Thanks!
Shaun

edit

at the moment im running 32psi front and 38psi rear but i dont think its enough for these huge rears.

Damz...275 on an 18" wheel...that huge

I have 20" with 275 on the rears and I keep them at 2.5 bar (no idea how much psi that would be)

these are actually the tire sizes fitted to the staggered 124 wheels (8x18 front/9x18 rear) common to the sport pkg. recommended tire pressures are:

Front - 32-38 psi
Rear - 35-42 psi

this may be based on the run-flat dunlop tires with a max cold press of 51 psi.

Seriously??? every time I come on here there is a comment that just blows my mind-like this person really can operate a computer
and use the internet, let alone manage to drive an e60!

Tire width has nothing to do with wheel sizing in diamter. A 23 inch wheel and an 18 inch wheel can both ahve the same width-and the 275 refers to the width and has nothing to do with the height of a wheel/tire! shocking

With that said I I think 36 front and 40rear works weell and I have those sizing on 19s however height and sidewall height does effect pressure so I am curiosu what the 550sport with non runflats reecomend

1 bar = 14.5 psi, therefore 2.5 bar = 36.25 psi (36 psi on a gauge).
