I've got about 2 weeks left before i can modify my order on my '05 545i SMG. My main concern is whether or not i should get SMG or just the tiptronic. I have my car configured with SMG as of now but would anyone here with SMG not recommend it for any reason? I like the option of using it in automatic mode so i guess that would be a plus if i got sick of shifting in traffic. Any comments?

I chose Auto because my wife didn't wanted the SMG and I bet she would have f*cked it up, and because the Auto mode on the SMG shifts too late and therefore not very smooth.

make her practice during test drives at the dealers first..haha.. so u can f*ck up theirs and not yours.... haha....
i dun drive stick..and with like 30 min of practicing playing with it in auto mode and like 20 min in the M mode.. i'm pretty confident i'll get the hang of it pretty quick.....
OR.. u can just take your wife to "Swiss Army Wife" training...hahaha
