Hi, i've got a 2005 525d m sport manual, with dsc+, but i find the hill hold function is a real pain in the butt when trying to park in a tight space, as each time the car stops during the manouvre, i have to wait 2 seconds for the system to disengage. Does anybody know how to turn off the hill hold function, without turning all the other dsc functions off ?

Don't think you can. Try 'blipping' the throttle - that should release the brakes. Must say I haven't really ever found the hill start assist a problem. In fact whilst this is a feature I would never have specced if it were an option, I have grown to really appreciate it - becomes much more apparent when driving a car without this feature.
