To tune or not to tune

Hey guys,

I got a 520d e60 pre lci
I got the engine completely overhauled and the dpf + egr removed.
The car pulls great as of now without any tune. Its NOT in limp mode.
Should I get the car tuned/remapped or should I just go for a dpf off + egr off tune?

I would just go for the DPF EGR tune.

is there no point in properly tuning the car rather than dpf off egr off?
