I think I'm the laziest guy here. I set everything all the way to the top in concert mode. And I think I've got a very very rich sound.

Try my Logic7 EQ settings.
Tell me what you think. Comments?

7 6 7 3 5 9 9

I listen to mostly FM.
These settings sound great to me.

It won't do anyone much good to use your EQ settings. EQ settings are dependant upon the source material. FM radio, for example, is typically EQ'd with excessive amounts of bass before it gets to your car. A professionally mastered CD will sound very different. It will most likely have been compressed/limited.

Every source is different, and would theoretically require different EQ settings.

I think a really nice feature addition to the Logic 7 stereo would be EQ presets that can be saved and recalled. That way you could set one EQ curve for radio, one for Sirius, one for CD, and one for your iPod.
Even then, when you change CDs the EQ settings would technically need tweaking, because no two CDs are mastered the same.... but at least you could keep them somewhat in the area you want.

Yea, Yea, I know all that, I have read all the threads, and I agree. I have always opted for the best factory sound system in my BMW's and up till now they have always had 3 or 4 memory settings for the EQ. Leaving this out was a mistake for BMW and they should fix it in a software revision.
But with the current state of affairs they have to be set SOMEWHERE.
Like I said, try them and let me know what you think. (one thing I noticed is that distortion is limited with this setting, music sounds clean and natural, yet spatial)
