Last week i changed atf oil and auto gear filter pan kit as well on my 520d after 130000km done, a few gear slam and a bit of oil leak down on the plastic pan. Unfortunately that slam still goes on. So Sometimes when the car is nearly to stop from moving or when from a stop position i let the brakes without pushing the gas pedal and it starts to go forward slowly i feel and hear a ''hop'' sound down on the tranny or maybe on the clutch and the car is trembling until i push the gas a little bit so it can go faster. Has anyone experienced anything like that? My fear is if there is a damage on the auto just because i was late on changing the atf oil. thanks in advance..

Maybe you did not add enough ATF. In any event, I would try the "25 seconds reset."

i'd check your trans mount and driveshaft for any play first.

From what the man said it took 7.5 litre about of shell M-1375.4 in. So now it could probably be more than what it needs. i've seen on another thread that normally 5.5 litre of oil can come out of the auto in every change. is that true?

You can't drain all the oil out, even with the pan off only about half will drain out.

The fill procedure is complex but essentially it's something like this:

Make sure the transmission oil is between 30C and 50C (say running for 5 mins to 20mins).
Fill with the engine running.
Fill until the oil comes out the filler.
Make sure you stand on the brakes and select every gear.
Check level again, and temperature. If too hot let it cool and try again.

Thanks for the info but now it's late for that oil change and i don't think they did that procedure. Could there be a problem because of too much atf oil in? How could i check the total amount of that oil? Can i drain some out of the pan?
