I'd run 19s. Less chance of a blowout or flat tire on crappy roads.

Avoid the GW Bridge and New York City altogether.

Take I95 to the Palisades Parkway North to the Tappan Zee Bridge to the Cross Westchester Expressway to I684 North to I84 past Hartford to the Mass Pike to Boston.
+1 ... Avoid the GW Bridge and 95E completely --- the road is 1/2 OK except for potholes that seem to show up w/o warning and eat wheels. 30 series or lower profile tires are at serious risk!

hows cops there... no problem driving 90+?

believe it or not i drive really fast ... once i made it from boston to virginia in 7 hrs...
I'd not push it with cops. If you have a VERY effective radar, yeah, but be smart. They won't give you any breaks if you get clocked doing 90

OR the Scenic Route with twisties: take Palisades Pkwy past Tappan Zee all the way til it merges with Route 6 and take that to the Bear Mtn Bridge, make a right after the bridge and take Route 6/202 down to Route 9 and take 9 up North to I-84, take 84 East and I think you're pretty much all interstate from there to Boston.

I'd run on 19s BTW

Part of it is the area where the Bear Mtn Meet was and other part (East of the Hudson River) is my own personal "dessert"

GW itself is ok, its what happens after...

If you get on Henry Hudson Pkwy North right after the Bridge, you'll be ok too - you'll take that up to Saw Mill River Pkwy and take Saw Mill North - check google maps on how to best go from there. But Saw Mill River Pkwy is a pretty nice ride too - not as nice as my original offer tho.
