You *must* torque the bolts to spec. You are talking aluminum and gaskets. If you over-tighten, you can crush the gasket or strip the bolt hole. If you under-tighten, you can have poor gasket contact or have a bolt come loose. With aluminum you can't guess when it comes to a part like this. Write down all the torque values and convert them to ft-lbs. You can find a conversion using Google or download an app for your smartphone.

It depends on how much you overfill it. It can drip or pour. I just overfilled and it until I was getting a steady stream then put the bolt on. No, torquing the bolts have nothing to do with the trans operation. But if you do not torque enough or in the right order you will have a leak which could in turn drip needed oil. I didnt use a torque because I have a power tool that hits about that range of NMs (Not recommended). I did have a leak at one portion of the pan but tightened the three bolts around it a little and no drip since. The only way to tell if you have a leak is by looking for oil around the bolts or your cover. Once you finish the job clean the pan with break cleaner and if at any point you take the cover off and see oil you know there is a slow leak.

Torque on the oil pans bolts won't affect the transmission operation (aside from a leak or a stripped bolt hole), but improper torque on the VB bolts could affect the transmission operation.

What are you buying the software for? PM and I will let you know the cheapest route to go. You do not need it to perform the fix.

Thanks for the update guys. I just received the 4 sealing sleeve gaskets in the mail. I'm going to drop the pan again and the VB and replace the 4 seals and double check that the bridge seal is set properly without any damage. A friend of mine let me barrow a click torque wrench with NM on it. This time i will make sure that all the VB bolts are tight properly. I have a feeling that i might of night torqued them right the first time and that's why I'm loosing pressure.

UPDATE:

removed the VB once again and replaced the 4 sleeves and verified that the sealing bridge was in good shape and installed correctly. I also replaced my crankshaft sensor which was going bad. Now all my gears work perfect with just one issue. On Manual or DS all gears work great but when I drive it on D I sometimes get a malfunction error. Any ideas why? Before my trans would hesitate to shift into 5th gear but after replacing the crankshaft sensor it now shifts perfectly.

Error codes:
4F85 & 4F8A

Is it going into limp mode with regular driving or with you pushing it? I would suggest that the bushing for the input shaft is wearing out. Which is not a "need" to replace now thing if you are not getting limp mode driving regular pace. But if you are going to drive like you are racing it needs to be replaced.

How are you getting the codes? Were the codes cleared after putting the VB back in.

Seanjordan20, It's going into limp mode when i drive easy on Drive. When I place it on DS or manual i can drive it really hard and not have any issues what so ever. This is why I'm confused. I'm pulling the codes with my OBII reader and DIS software that's installed in my computer. Yes, I made sure to clear the codes and reset my adaptations before going out for a drive. Do you know if the codes I'm getting are electrical or mechanical?

Sounds like you may be one of the unfortunate ones that actually needs a new transmission, or possibly a new E-drum. The E-drum also contains the input shaft for the transmission, and as seanjordan said the input shaft bushing wears prematurely and causes slipping in the E-clutch. how many miles on the car? Those codes are slip codes. most of the time new solenoids and seals fixes these problems, but it's not a 100% guaranteed fix. sorry to hear you're having problems still.
