Transmission Position Sensor 535i
I had to push the car a few feet (long story)so I used the lever by the shifter to put the car in neutral.
Although I used that, the car did make a noise when I MANUALLY pushed it, a sort of clicking. It pushed easily.
Now, I get a transmission position sensor error,and when the starter engages, the motor doesn't turn over.
I tried the manual resets to no avail.
Edited, The motor turns over. Lesson: don't get the wife to monitor the engine.
Will post what seems to be the issue in another thread.
